What is mik aoki?

Mik Aoki is a college baseball coach who is currently the head coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball team. He was born on October 18, 1967, in Palo Alto, California. Aoki attended UC Santa Barbara where he played baseball and earned his bachelor's degree. He later earned his master's degree in sports administration from Ohio University.

Before Notre Dame, Aoki was the head coach of the Boston College Eagles baseball team for six seasons and the Columbia Lions baseball team for four seasons. During his coaching career, he has been named the Big East Coach of the Year twice and the Ivy League Coach of the Year once.

Aoki is known for his emphasis on academics and building a strong team culture. He has also developed several players who have gone on to play in the Major Leagues, including Chris Shaw and Nick Sciortino.
